The luxury cruise liner, Celebrity Cruises will set sail with a historic all-female bridge and leadership crew to mark International Women’s Day, on March 8, 2020. Kate McCue, the first North American female cruise ship captain will be at the helm of the brand’s newest and award winning ship, Celebrity Edge in charge of 26 other women from 17 countries to create an all-female bridge and officer leadership team. The team will be joined by Celebrity’s President and CEO Lisa Lutoff-Perlo.

Royal Caribbean is coming to southern Florida in fall 2020 with the launch of the first of its Quantum Ultra Class ships to come to North America, the Odyssey of the Seas. The ship is the 27th in Royal Caribbean’s international cruise fleet and will dock at her homeport of Fort Lauderdale, FL in November 2020.

Royal Caribbean’s Oasis Class cruise ship Allure of the Seas is to undergo a $165 million enhancement as part of its revolutionary Royal Amplified fleet upgrade program, which will see an overhaul of 10 cruise ships at a cost of over a billion dollars. The upgraded Allure of the Seas will offer a host of new attractions, around the clock entertainment for adults and kids, and a range of culinary delights.
